Stainless Steel Metric D=25mm

Clippard’s metric cylinders offer all of the advantages of Clippard’s high quality, reliable stainless steel cylinders—available with metric threads. Stroke lengths of 10 mm to 160 mm are offered.

  • • Polished I.D. 304 stainless steel tubes for low breakaway provides smooth action
    • • Typical breakaway less than 1/2 bar
    • • Precision double rolled construction for solid, leak-proof cylinders
    • • Sintered bronze rod bushing reduces wear and friction
    • • Sintered bronze clevis bushing on all clevis mount cylinders means less wear
    • • Rods are threaded and bonded to pistons
    • • Ground, polished, and roller burnished 303 stainless steel rod saves seal wear
    • • Full piston area breakaway to assure full power from the beginning of each stroke
    • • Buna-N ”U” cup piston and rod seals for reliable leak-free operation
    • • Temperature range: 0 to 110°C
    • • Maximum pressure of 17 bar

QUALITÄT ALS PRINZIP

Das Unternehmen Clippard Instrument Laboratory, Inc., das 1941 von W.L Clippard jun. gegründet wurde, fertigte zunächst elektronische Testeinrichtungen. In den 50er Jahren erkannte W.L Clippard den Bedarf an miniaturpneumatischen Komponenten und begann mit der Entwicklung und Produktion einer ersten, noch kleinen Produktlinie in diesem damals neuen Bereich. Die Nachfrage war so gross, dass das Clippard Instrument Laboraty - so hieß das Unternehmen - schon Ende der 60er Jahre nahezu ausschließlich Pneumatikkomponenten herstellte.

Seitdem wuchs Clippard mit diesem Produktbereich kontinuierlich und ergänzte das Portfolio um neue, innovative Produkte. Dazu gehörten u.a. die weitverbreitete modulare Baureihe, die "Mouse Valve"-Baureihe, elektropneumatische Proportionalventile und elektronische Ventilsteuerungen.

Heute ist das nach wie vor in Familienbesitz befindliche Unternehmen weltweit aktiv und nach wie vor innovativ. Die Produktionsstätten sind in Cincinnati und Fairfield/Ohio sowie in Madison/Indiana. Die Europa-Zentrale mit einem gut ausgebauten Distributionszentrum befinden sich in Louvain-La-Neuve/Belgien.

 

MINIATURPNEUMATIK FÜR LABOR UND WISSENSCHAFT

Seit mehr als 60 Jahren entwickelt und fertigt Clippard Komponenten der Fluidtechnik, Antriebstechnik und Prozesstechnik für zahlreiche Anwendungsgebiete in Wissenschaft, Medizintechnik, Dentaltechnik und Labortechnik.
